QOLEY / 01
Crossings on a map, nearby objects and source information. An offline schematic or an optional online street basemap.
Prepared voice prompts in Polish, English, German, French and Ukrainian. Stored on the phone, not generated during your journey.
Start before travelling and stop whenever you want. A visible notification shows the session status. No automatic startup after a reboot.
QOLEY / 02
Allow precise location and notifications. Test the voice message, including your car Bluetooth.
Qoley checks your approach using distance, movement and available road geometry. A started session continues with the screen off.
Hear a reminder and follow the actual signs and signals. GPS quality, phone settings and missing data can limit warnings.
OFFLINE FIRST
The crossing database and voice recordings are bundled with the app. The offline map is schematic and has no full street network. The optional street basemap requires internet and shares the viewed area with its provider.
PLANNED · NOT IN THIS VERSION
Next: station departures, delays and nearby train information using PLK Open Railway Data. Reported and estimated positions must be distinguished. This information will not determine whether a crossing is safe.
FAQ
No. It detects your approach to a crossing stored in the database. It does not know whether a train is approaching, barriers are closed or signals are active.
No guarantee. OSM data can be incomplete or outdated, and GPS can be inaccurate. Nearby parallel roads may still cause false alerts. No warning never means that it is safe to cross.
The first database covers Poland. Five languages do not mean five-country coverage. It is an Android app, not Android Auto or a full navigation system.
No route or location history is uploaded. Detection runs on the phone. If you enable online maps, their provider receives your IP address and viewed map area. There are no accounts or analytics.
